WOOOSH. it's been a very very busy one month plus... orientation is finally over and most of the O week stuffs are over. a big big big apology to all those whom i couldn't meet up with during this period (eve though it was the holidayssss) but i assure u i tried my best to fit in everything! but fear not. all that is almost over. heh.

orientation prep and orientation itself has been a blast for me. really glad that i have joined KEWOC this yr (although it ate up half my hols!!).
got to know some of the funniest pple in hall much better,
drank lots of bubble tea,
had endless endless endless longgggg meetings with the most nonsensical suggestions and beating around the bush,
adopted 2 jie meis along the way,
never ending jokes about POWERFUL pple,
simplifying the mass dance over and over again due to our inability to remember steps :/,
suppers suppers and MORE SUPPERS,
nice cooling windy freezing lorry rides,
squeezey illegal immigrant-like lorry rides,
sentosa tanning frenzy,
dirty disgusting KEWOC room,
peanut butter sandwiches,
1 dollar a minute fines,
and all those memories....
it certainly was a blast! :D but of cuz, given how time consuming it was, once is enough for me! heh.

i learnt that being a KEWOC means having to withstand 4hrs of sleep a day for a whole week. it means having to come up with last minute plans should things not turn out the way we planned it to (even after hours of discussion, the unexpected WILL STILL OCCUR).

being an OGL means having to put a name to that face you see. it means having to rara up your group when their morale goes down. i have to admit that i'm really bad with names and faces. i asked so many times that i became too pai seh to ask the PRCs what their names are alr. LOL.

being a station master means you have the power to be entertained! making pple do silly chicken dance, pole dance, banana dance etc etc.. and the power to make them cheer just by going "I CANT HEAR YOUUUUUU". lol. i like i like!

overall, i had the most fun ever in ages! pics are most prob in facebk or i will post some soon as soon as i get my hands on them :) i sure hoped the freshies had a good time as well!

the lack of sleep during orientation and the period before made me K.O. tru the weekend. next up was the very dreadful flag! ROARRRR.

can i just say that toa payoh pple not very friendly? and giam! hahahah.

you get the usual people who siam you by walking diagonally upon approaching flagger,
by pretending not to acknowledge your existence at all (this kind i ABSOLUTELY HATE),
by saying "no thank you" (this kind i still can tahan, but really, 10cents to buy a sticker of immunity will kill mehhhh?),
by smiling and nodding their heads when u ask them if they wanna donate and just walk away (urhhh, wth?!?! u nod for what then?!),
by saying things like "why dun u donate to me?" (the oldies lurrrrve to do that man, buay tahan, what u want me to say!).
BUT got this mother and daughter pair totally win hands down.
they were walking perfectly fine and all of a sudden, they seem to have spotted me and ~tadaaaaa~ they did a 180DEGREE U-TURN!!!!! OMGGGG. cannot believe it can! pls la! the whole of NUS in pink shirts are around everywhere! like they can escape!!!! MWAHAHAHA. i would love ot find out if they did donate in the end..

so anw, hall flag did well this yr! hit our gold target!! :D 64k!!! woooooooh~ way to go!

now that all that is over, left with RAG DAY! may KE FLOAT do well this yr!!! wheeee~
